Live Performances

We have provided a few recordings of our prior performances to give you a flavor of what our concerts are like and what you can expect if you bring us out for a service or performance. You can click each image further down the page to navigate to social media uploads of some of our favorite performance moments as BonaVox. We hope you enjoy the music and can experience it live soon!

"Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" | Edward Bairstow

This setting of a classic hymn from the Christian tradition fills any resonant space nicely with it's soaring climax of Alleluias and gentle landing in reverent awe. This recording was taken during our 2024 "Mourning" series at St. John the Evangelist, a little church down the bayou in Mermentau.

"McKay" | Carol Barnett

This is one of three movements from a lovely work by Carol Barnett and one of our favorite pieces to perform. The piece describes the rapture at the arrival into paradise and builds into a roar of wonder and excitement with the sections all moving about each other until they arrive at the final resolution at the end. We hope you enjoy this recording from Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Vicksburg, Mississippi our 2024 Summer Tour.

"If Ye Love Me" | Thomas Tallis

We have been singing this classic choir anthem since our first days as BonaVox. Please enjoy this recording from our second concert series ever, "Divine Love", at St. Luke-Simpson United Methodist Church in Lake Charles, LA.
