About Travis

Travis Stegall, is Director of Music at St. Luke Simpson United Methodist Church. He attended Louisiana State University and McNeese State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Performance. Travis is a U.S. History Teacher at Barbe High School where he is also the assistant director of choirs. In 2013, he traveled to Vienna, Austria to attend a summer course, Vienna: Language of Lieder, which is a unique dual emphasis program studying the preparation and performance of Lieder and the German language. In 2017, he wrote and directed "The Christmas Guest" through the Mines Theater in Sulphur, LA. He has been cast in roles in various operas and musicals through both McNeese and LSU. When not at church or school, Travis is either at home with his family or in the gym where he enjoys powerlifting. Travis and Danielle (our soprano) are married and have 2 children.
