Steven Guillory

Steven Guillory, bass-baritone, is the Director of Choirs for the Lafayette Parish Schools' Performing Arts Academy. In addition to this, he is a graduate student in Choral Conducting at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, studying with Dr. William Plummer. He previously attended McNeese State University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education (Vocal, K-12) in 2011. While at McNeese, he performed with the McNeese Chamber Singers, served as president of the Chamber Singers, and performed the role of Mèphistophélès in the McNeese Opera Workshop’s production of Faust. Steven has performed as a freelance chorister and section leader in choirs across southern Louisiana and has previously served as Director of Music Ministries at Henning Methodist Church in Sulphur, Louisiana. He currently sings with BonaVox and the Louisiana Vocal Arts Ensemble.
