About the event
Join us for the launch of our new concert series, Conversations, which aims to showcase the scholarship and creative works of BonaVox members. This premiere event debuts member Lindsey Bower's arrangements of music by Connie Converse which are the culmination of her master's work at Edinburgh Napier University. Her project revolves around themes of combating the obstacles and undervaluation women face as musicians, impressing the importance of building community through music and singing together, and making composition/choral music more accessible to those without formal music training. We invite all to learn about Converse's life and music, Bower's artistic research, and to support women's music.
