About Lindsey

Lindsey Bower is the owner of local business Dixie Upholstery. She started singing from a very young age and has always loved music, performing, and songwriting. She graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance in 2019, working as the choir librarian, singing in the McNeese Chamber Singers, Women’s ensemble, and Opera Workshop. Lindsey sang at First United Methodist Church with the Chancel Choir, played handbells with the Asbury Ringers, and worked with the Music Ministries program. She has sung as a soloist and chorus member with the McNeese Chamber Singers, the Louisiana Choral Foundation, and Louisiana Vocal Arts Ensemble (LVAE). She is currently pursuing her Masters in Music at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. Along with music, she loves art, food, yoga, movies, and writing.
