Kennedy Anderson

Kennedy Anderson, alto, is a science and social studies teacher at CPSB Alternative Schools. She graduated from McNeese State University Honors College in 2023 in Pre-Medicine Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Kennedy first developed her passion for music at T.S. Cooley Elementary and only blossomed as she grew older. Continuing her music education, she sang in various choirs at A.M. Barbe High School and participated in ACDA and LMEA for all four years. She majored in Vocal Music Education while serving as Choral President in the 2022-2023 school year. She plans to finish her music degree in the near future. Kennedy currently sings with First United Methodist Church and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Church where she continues to grow musically. She tutors students in the Lake Charles area outside of school and making beautiful music with choral groups. In her free time, she loves to socialize with friends, read, garden, and play various instruments.
